problem showing right blocks in new theme

i have installed a new theme called space and i have right and left blocks active in admin menu but on none of the pages do the right blocks show
Is it a problem with the theme or a setting i missed out somewhere,

open your theme.php

find

and change it to

if (defined('INDEX_FILE')) {
