I recently decided to put an old site back online that used to use php-nuke.

Anyway, I sucessfully upgraded php-nuke from 6.9 to 7.7 (latest), HOWEVER!

phpbb/the forum modual do not work.

When I click on them, its simply blank. Nothing.

Why might this be?

When I login the the forum admin area (phpbb admin area), it says that i'm currently using phpbb ...14 i need ...16 (latest).

Firstly, does the phpbb part need to be upgraded seperatly? Secondly how do I upgrade from 14 to 16, is there a php-nuke upgrade patch?

Thanks.

Did you run the upgrade scripts? 7.7 includes BBToNuke 2.0.14
Have you tried the Patched files - http://www.nukeresources.com ?

I ran all the updates 6.9 - 7.7, yet the phpbb modual (apart from the admin area) does nothing, its just blank.

Any ideas why this might be?

If you are using the Patched files, you can enable error reporting in config.php and see if there are any error messages

There was no errors when I upgraded.

What exactly do I change in config.php?

Do I try running the upgrades again?

Would you have a look at the website if I sent it in a privmsg?

Thanks.

$display_errors is the line used in the latest Patched version
Without error messages, we're not sure where the problem is. Have you updated to the latest BBToNuke?

There is no match for display_errors in config.php - Please can you expand on this.

I have run the phpnuke updates, do you have to run the BBToNuke updates also?

If so where are they located?

I tried http://www.domain.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=update_to_2XX

I tried http://www.domain.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=update_to_216

I tried http://www.domain.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=update_to_214

They all returned "Sorry, such file doesn't exist..."

Any ideas?

Well what files do you have in your modules/Forums directory? Those have the upgrades up to 2.0.10
Other upgrades are integrated into the phpNuke upgrade scripts

I have files
update_to_205.php

Updating to latest stable release

Information

Database type :: mysql
Your Current forum version is .0.14 This upgrade script requires PHP-Nuke 6.5 and BBtoNuke .0.4

If you are running PHP-Nuke 6.5 maybe you have not applied sec-fix patch 3,
if that is the case get it here then try upgrading again once the patch has been applied.

This makes me concerned:

Code:
Your Current forum version is .0.14

It means your forums was already updated maybe.
Are you sure you're using the Patched files?

You may need to check your server's error logs.

I checked my "httpd-error.log", nothing worth taking note of...

Any further ideas?
