I am stilling learning on how to use nuke. So far i learned how to add images and a few other things but i wonder does my forums need to be up to date. Right now my PHPBB forums are at verison 2.0.14 and the current verison is 2.0.18. I have tried to update them but i have failed many times. again, i am new at this. and i dont really know how to update forums are add addons to php nuke.

Do i need to update my phpbb forums to the current verison.

Yes. old 2.0.14 version has security holes. By the time of when 2.0.17 came up, it is so robust but several couples of bugs as well. Thus, 2.0.18 np for your nuke will be the most clean shot. Upgrade 2.0.18 np as soon as possible.
