im attempting to make my site downloads provide information etc on beta drivers and firmware which involves downloads from another site..
However when I put the corrent information into the download url on my site, when clicked it displays as the following

http://www.mysite.com/index.php?http://www.downloadsite.com

obviously this ensures that it does not work, how do I correct the situation

Weird the download links should be in the form
http://www.mysite.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=XX
