Everything was working fine on my site until this am when I tried to login to admin panel.
Whatever icon I click on returns me to the login screen.

Also when I attempt to login to site it say user status offline

Was your IP changed at any time? I know when mine's changed, I sometimes have the same problem.

Php admin logins or even user logins are not reliant on an IP. More than likely you changed your password, edited your config.php, or installed some sort of software that is filtering cookies. I think the last option is what happened because that would be the most common cause. You may not have even installed new software, but may have a security center such as McaFee installed and it did an auto update, therefore changing your settings.
