change globle to global

This has been fixed before. I haven't had chance to update the download yet either.

Install went fine.

However though all the eGallery controls appear tob e there I cant actually create any categories or templates - whenever I try to it all "goes through" but afterwards there's no sign of either a category or template etc.

Searching various sites for some more info.

I just ran a quick test on my site (Nuke 6.5 beta 7 running the My_eGallery port), both the categories and hte templates work fine in adding / editing and deleting.

When you say "No Sign of being created" are you still logged in as Admin??

Yup - logged in as admin.

I go to the "Click to create new top level category. "

fill in the appropriate blanks - click "save changes" - and it returns me to the "edit categories" page without (apparently) having created a category.

erm...... did you run my install file??? Run the install again. If it didn't create the tables, it should have done.

lol - erm... (hides in the corner wearing a dunce's hat)

I guess i might have to upload this "gallerySQL" file somewhere before i run the install?

(My excuse - it didn't say to do this in the readme!)

where should i put it?

(nothing rude pls)

I've just re-uploaded the My_eGallery port so if u want u can re-download that and see if my install file works for you now.

Or, go into phpMyAdmin, select ur database, select SQL and then run the gallerySQL.sql file I included in the port. The phpMyAdmin method will work without error. I'm not sure why the install file's failing for you.
