What do you have to do when that instalation tells you
CHMOD the folder /ps_uploads to 0777 so that you can use the auto update IP 2 C feature!

How do you do this step.

chmod is a permissions command using either an ftp client (like ws_ftp or cuteftp) or your file manager through c-panel (or similiar server admin GUI). Right click the folder, and, depending on your ftp client, choose permissions, properties, or execute command>chmod, and either click all available boxes, or manually type in 777. Through cpanel, click the foder name, and select permissions from the available choices.

777 would be full read, write, and execute permissions.

For more information on chmod itself, try a google search on chmod.
