nuke cops logo

Hey guys, i told one of your admins i would work at creating a new logo and i didnt really have much time these past couple weeks, but what i did i kinda threw together, and i was wondering what you think http://bretzamzow.uni.cc/nukecops.html let me know i can change it and i make it a whole lot better, i just need to know what you want.

I was just looking for a Nuke Cops Banner or Logo for my website that would allow me to give credit. So in response to the original post, I give you an idea.

Sorry, but I do not much like the logo that you made, of course that does not matter, but I suggest a fun competition. Setup a contest that will last a set amount of time like 2 weeks maybe. Allow users to submit their graphical ideas and allow voting. Whom ever gets the most votes wins and their logo / banner will become the official NukeCops logo / banner.

I suppose this may help if you care. Some constructive critisizm. The logos are a bit too grainy, too big for a standard logo and they look like they are cut from a much larger banner. I am not sure what graphical program you are using but you might want to check your compression when you save the file. Some compressions will not make it grainy. You may also want to slightly round the corners and make two connected edges a little darker. This will help get away from the look of it being cut from a banner and give it some dimension. Last, if you create a large logo, save it and then shrink the dimensional size down with AntiAlaising turned on and save it as another file. That way you will not destroy your original in case you do not like the final results of the smaller logo. By creating it large and then shrinking it you can also create a more robust logo the way that you intend and then the same design will transfer when it is smaller.

I know this may sound mean but my intentions are not that. Just trying to lend a helpful hand. I do like the idea.
