Okay.

My 'expert' tracking skills have found that

The admin loop login and the super user login loop is related to the blank page on the edit admins.

This tells me that there is a problem accessing the database.

Now, me personally I can't create a super user, or do anything but DELETE things from the database.

Hmmm...

Usually it means the authors table does not match the table definition of your nuke version. Second, you can always try the Patched files to make sure any bug fixes are there - http://www.nukefixes.com
