Hello,

I´m running bbtonuke 2.0.4. on my nuke 5.5 - by this time, bb was not automatically implemented in nuke.

So please could anybody advice me how to update my bbforum? I cerantly don´t want to lose any postings of my members...

Tia, orangenbluete

I don't know if the latest BBToNuke's work with 5.5. I suggest upgrading to the latest 7.3 and then apply the latest BBToNuke package.

I certainly won´t upgrade my nuke 5.5. It´s the most stable version... and beginning form nuke 6.0 odr 6.5 there is a complete change in the tablestructure... never got the point for whart reason? The newer versions work as unsecure as the older ones... so you´ve to do fixes anyway.

Let me try again:

I´m looking for a phpbbforum which fits into my nuke 5.5. I have a phpbb-forum running, but I want to update.

So: Is there a phpbb-version somewhere out, 2.0.7. or 2.0.8. or 2.0.9.... working with nuk 5.5?

I really disagree. phpNuke 5.5 isn't supported anymore, thus bug fixes in later versions are not included. You really have to keep up with bugs found and modify them to your older system, while the 6.5+ can use the Patched files found at http://www.nukefixes.com - As well, the newer ones use the new database abstraction layer, which all code should be running. Finally, most security scripts are being supported on 6.5 and higher.

I don't think anyone will port BBToNuke to work with anything other than 6.5 and higher. As you've said, the table definitions have changed to support it integrated into Nuke, while the older versions have not.
