I was changing my name and admin name and I have blocked myself out of my own admin. I know my password and user name to sign in but when i try to get into admin it says

Hi Phatality,
Are you sure you were blocked by Admin Secure? Admin Secure does not showing such message to banned users, instead you'll be informed that your requesting page couldn't found.
But if you sure this is caused by Admin Secure, run phpMyAdmin (or similar tool) and empty (do not drop!) xxx_ban_system table, where xxx is table name defined in asconfig.php (in $asec_dbconfig variable).

I tried to change the god admin name, and now I cannot log into the site. I know that the name is listed in the author table, and I see it there, but how can I change the password? It is all encrypted.

Admin Secure is very protective with this one (a reason why it called Admin Secure ). Don't spend your time with db tables. If you change God admin account, first you need to logout (as admin, not user). Then run asec.php. Don't be surprise if you'll see access denied page. At this point, enter two security codes given by Admin Secure at first/upgrade installation. If security codes accepted, choose "God Admin Approval" option from the menu.
