I have tried many different forum scrollers but none of them worked.

Now i am trying this one : http://nukecops.com/downloads-file-60.html

I follwed the install.txt to the letter, same story, don't work, it just says "There is no content for this block right now"

I am using the standalone phpbb 2.04 forum and phpnuke 6.5 and have put the forum catalog outside the modules structure, in phpnukeroot/forum and not in phpnukeroot/modules/Forums.

Can some phpbb/phpnuke guru please help, this is getting very frustrating

of course it's not working if you're not using the standard database setup.

Take a close look at the database tables for the standalone forum, you'll find you need to manually edit the block's code to look at the forum tables that are being used, not hte ones that get installed for nuke.
