I'm not sure how open you are for other projects but hear me out:
A similar project works practically the same way as yours.
It's called 'United Devices', and is sponsored by Intel, Oxford and other respectable universities.
Sadly enough one of their projects is also sponsored by the US department of defence. That project looks for a cure on anthrax and smallpox. If you disagree in taking part of that project you can unregister yourself for that specific part and take part in other projects (like I did). I am stronly against any kind of project that only serves the cause of a military organisation opressing a foreign nation. Therefor it was kinda essential for me to be able to unregister for that specific project.
But, the other project you can participate in on united devices is 'cancer research'. That project is already in an advanced stage and deserves your computer power
