Can I change these messages (or field explanations) that the users get when registering, for example _RETYPEPASSWORD to Re-type password: and _TYPESECCODE to Please type security code and so on?
Also when php sends a mail to users after registration, the mail doesn't say that the link has to be clicked to register properly. Is it possible to add text to the default e-mail?

You can change these messages by modifying the various language files. The security code message is in the core languages folder and the other one is in the Your_Account module language file.
