PHPNuke 6.5 Final & analyzer.php
PHPNuke 6.5 Final is out today for member club, I have just download and installed in a fresh installation, I notice that there are some minor difrences from RC3, I find a nice post from sixonetonoffun in http://nukecops.com/postt1218.html that shows the changes from RC3, like sixonetonoffun i need to find the changes from myself because they are not in phpnuke 6.5
final. This can be a problem from people like me that likes to change the files by head ....
Now in Analyzer.php:
The problem I notice runing analyzer.php after instaling new phpnuke 6.5 final, is that it shows me a warning message that says I am runing a old version of the of phpbb : WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! Your phpbb2 forums are at Risk!
I dont know if the problem here is because analyze, or is phpnuke 6.5 Final that comes out with a old and bugy version of phpbb2 forum...
Other and this une "old" problem that I notice on analyze.php is that it allways show me an error in my mysql, WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! Vulnerable MySQL Server On Your Server!
MySQL Server Version Reason For Vulnerability
3.23.54
I am runing the last update from redhat using up2date, my version is 3.23.54a
rpm -q mysql
mysql-3.23.54a-3.73
Analyzer dont reconise my version as safe but redhat says that this is the last version for my distro 7.3
Tkanks in advance from any replay ... |

red hat's telling u a load of old b****** then, cause MySQL 3.23.55 has been out for weeks.
Also, the easiest way to get rid of that analyzer message is to make sure our port is fully implemented (it wasn't in RC3 I noticed) and make sure ur database has the version number of .0.4 in instead of .0.2 in the nuke_bbconfig table

as soon as i installed Nuke 6.5 final, i installed nukecops implementation of phpbb... well, i created some categories, goto post, and i'm told i have an Invalid Session.. any idea what that is?
anyways, i'm re-uploading the original forums that came w/ 6.5 final, so i'll see if it's an incompatibility with nukecops separate version for rc2, or something else.. |

I have read somewhere that uploading posting.php from the RC2 pack will solve the problem. |

Thanks for fast replay ArtificialIntel.
You have answer my doubts about mysql warnings up2date from redhat are not so update as it should be...!
rpm -q mysql
mysql-3.23.54a-3.73
up2date mysql
Fetching package list for channel: redhat-linux-i386-7.3...
########################################
Fetching Obsoletes list for channel: redhat-linux-i386-7.3...
########################################
Fetching rpm headers...
None of the packages you requested were found, or they are already updated.
Now about phpbb:
I have other doubt! You says that "the easiest way to get rid of that analyzer message is to make sure our port is fully implemented (it wasn't in RC3 I noticed)"
Do you mean : nukephpbbv21_65rc2.tar.gz
Is this version of nukephpbb that I need to update in PHPnuke 6.5 Final to get ride of that Warning?
Sorry but I have other question way FB don’t release PHPnuke 6.5 Final with nukecops phpbb implementation? we can see the analyzer shows that the version that comes with phpnuke final are vulnerable!
Well you can tell me to ask FB ... but I think, and until now that nukecops are working with FB in this new release of PHPnuke or I am wrong?
I say that because, I really like the work you “nukecops” are doing with PHPnuke, I only start using PHPnuke in a productive sites as the time you join the project, "6.5”.
Keep going … |

If using 6.5 final, to get rid of the analyzer warning for the forums edit the bbconfig database table, change the value for version from whatever it is now to .0.4 |

fbc was advised that if our port was to be implemented in the release of phpnuke, that the version field in _bbconfig had to be set to ".0.4". |

Am I buggin or what? I am looking at phpMyAdmin at the nuke_bbconfig table and I don't see any indication of the "version" record. Am I just being in a stupid state, or is there some magic pixie dust I need to sprinkle? Thanks for the help. |

Hey, Beatle.
Yeah, I am using 6.5 Final, and no, I've not had any problems with the admin functions. Are you saying that you can't get the admin.php page to load in the browser or is it something else? |
