I think it's because the -f flag is only getting added to your email address but not to the email of your users, i'm not quite sure why my suggestion gave you a parse error but let's try a variant, modify the finishnewuser line using the following and try to register an account using a email addy other than your domain email
that gets both registrations, lost passwords and password codes working - gotta check later to fix newsletters but im assuming its gonna be the same essentially
"ICiA@fourbelowzero.com" just needs to be replaced by whatever "youraccount@yourdomain.com" is..
I guess you'd term the whole thing as needing to "hardcoded" (???) to get past the hosting issues - working so far anyway - usrs registering away without probs and ive had em check lost password and such like - all works so far.

ok this absolutely takes the cake. how it can work for any one is beyond me.
i just spent the last 6 hours hunting this down and thanks to dragon i got it to work BUT ... i am using nuke 6.8 and the lines that need changing are in 146,653 and 683 of modules/your_acount/index.php
the above works for me .. hope it helps a few others as well. i am one of the F flaggers so , folks get editing !!!

well , the same lines as i have posted above in the same file. eventhough i run 6.8 i doubt that the differences are huge, the line count might be off by 1 or 2 just search for the original
in modules/your_acount/index.php and replace them with what i suggested two/three posts earlier. the above suggestion applies only if your sendmail uses the -f flag.
