The boards on my site allow anonymous/guest posters to post. How can this be disabled? The only setting I have found is in nuke admin > preferences, and this is set to no. |

Forum/Configuration/Permissions
Then set each Forum to the permissions you want. |

or alternatively you could make it so only registered members can see the module from the modules administration |

Then only registered users can VIEW the posts which is probably what you do not want. You normally want everyone to view. |

Well i didnt mind that until i began to discover 20 or more people anonymously browsing from the same ip... that ticked me off enough to require registration Besides most sites have other benefits |

Guys,
What happened to the setting in Preferences that use to stop Anonymous users from posting.
It is still in version 7.0 but there is a bug and it currently doesn't work.
If you are running 6.5 select allow anoymous to post to NO and Guests can't post to the forums.
I hope this is fixed in the public release! |
