hi and thanks in advance for any help you may offer. I just upgraded my phpNuke 6.0 w/ phpBBport using the phpNuke 6.5beta8 package.

I have made 1 mistake so far: i didnt use the nukeBBsql so the topics and posts didnt transfer. Can I re-insert the posts from my db backup?

Now i cannot access the Forums Administration section under the Admin Control panel. When I select the link to Forums, my browser attemps to download these files:

../modules/Forums/admin/index.php?pane=right
../modules/Forums/admin/index.php?pane=left

and i get a blank screen. Sad what am i doing wrong?

thanks again,
regards Smile[/b]

Why not just restore your backup and start over?

agreed. Restore all original php-nuke and phpbb port files, and DB backup, then try upgrading again, using the correct upgrade script...

Or you can try and extract the bbposts table contents from your backup and uploading it...just like you would an sql file in phpmyadmin.

Did all the users get updated OK?

All users still intact. Just the posts and topics lost. Categories and Forums ok. I might try to import my backup db's posts if i can figure out what changes have been made to table and/or variable names. make sense? is that feasible? or is restoring and starting over my best bet?

I don't think ya would have to change the files just restore the database and run the upgrade script. Files "should" be fine as long as they are all the new ones.

Yes like sixonetonoffun says. You can just restore your entire backed up database and then run the CORRECT upgrade script from the Downloads on this site. That should work.
