Is there a way to keep the header.html file in the site default theme from refreshing everytime you go to another link.
Is there something like a no reload for the header and which *.php file(s) do you place it?
Thanks

you'd have to place the header in a frame

Trying to do the same thing, so have a question...
Where would the frame tags be placed? In the theme I'm using there isn't a "body" text, so not sure which file needs to have the frame tags placed...
In my instance, I am using a modification of the "cranked" theme where I have a shockwave flash movie play in the header when you enter the site. The problem is whenever you go to a new module, the flash movie plays again. As you move through the site, it's getting annoying seeing the same flash over and over...
Thanx!

you have to place it in a new file called index.html and make index.html ur default page. This stops search engines from being able to search ur content though.

Cool, thnx AI...will give that a try. I'm not too worried about search engines since my site is a gaming Guild site and really only our Guild will be visiting for the most part...
