Always refer to this CVS location:
http://cvs.nukecops.com/cvs.php/GoogleTap
The *.plain files are not GT enabled.
The *.GT files are fully GT functional.
All are complete. Just plug and pray. |

Hello ZX,
I downloaded the latest GT files and find it strange that some of the links work whereas others don't.
In my menu block I can get archive.html, faq.html, download.html and a few others but the forum link , search link, encyclopedia link and a few others are still the same (ie: modules.php?ModuleName) |

Right, its because PHP-Nuke is a little intricate in the way it uses ampersands. Adding more code into the GT slows down processing in general. |

Could you give some advice on how to fix that problem?
Thanks |

I have been experimenting with mambo 4.5 and I just found that the mod_rewrite for mambo is very simple.
The article I found was:
I tried it at a linux server site and it works without all the very long 'rewrite' files
Maybe worthwhile a study to insert that into phpNuke? |

what do you do with these .gt files? Shouldn't they be .php?
I had problems installing the version from the other threads lead by audioslaved in 2003.. |

That above link doesn't work and Googletap has trashed a couple of blocks (links no longer work) AND I can't install new modules now. |

Rename and copy over. Done.
I don't know why it would affect your modules in any way. All it does it create shorter links. You probably don't have mod_rewrite enabled on your server anyway. |

All you have to do for these files is open the GT files and save as .php so change header.gt to header.php. Do same for footer the upload to main directory and your done. If you have any problems rename plain files to php then upload.
Hope this helps |
