If all goes well right away we'll send this port to Francisco to be included in php-nuke. He's waiting, so lets test fast!!

any plans on getting the users 'personal information' page and the forums 'profile' page to be the same page?

what's the point? It's do-able - in fact, the Your_Account "Your Information" section still has that integration.

The forum profile screen gives you a couple more options anyway - like avatar uploading for starters.

The single page would be the point.

Say someone comes up with a really kick-Rainbow Brite modification, one that would just blow the entire nuke community away. Which page would the mod be applied to? Both? Seems a little redundant, don't you think?

As long as FB is making phpBB the only integrated forum, don't you think the single page for user profile info would make sense? Don't get me wrong, it's great, but it could be better...

they're 90% integrated anyway. The only thing that's really different is the avatar uploading feature.

True the new version of the port has a re-written link that takes u to the forum profile screen instead of the Your _Account screen like it did b4 the updated port, but still.....

I'm fixing the forums port still anyway cause a couple new problems just got spotted by me and zhen. I'll re-write the profile link for that.

AI is right, there are other things to handle right now, like the bugs in this v 2.1 port release. Other things must wait.

As for issue with the 2 Profile "controls" for Nuke and the Forums be integrated.
The only difference I see between Nuke6.0 with Tom's phpBBport 2.0.6 AND Nuke6.5 Beta8 is the Avatar upload and link to and Gallery option not existing.

However, with the Profile module, you can basically link to the Old Profile in the Forum, but this is by no means a way to solve it, because...
there seems to be a small bug on my test site which has been running 6.5B8 upgraded from B7. This may be part of the reason FB may have removed the forum Profile thing.
Everytime you try and update your Forum profile it bombs with
Quote:
The current password you supplied does not match that stored in the database

At least it does on my test site.
It almost seems as if the usercp_register.php file is no longer used or the coding is incorrect(but I think it's still being used) WOOP WOOP Incorrect coding blah... The Forum profile uses this file exclusively for any Profile changes. I ran a diff on it with Tom's 2.0.6 version and there are no changes that FB made to that file. Confused

As for the problem with the Private messages being all "jacked-up"...I didn't notice it on my testsite. But I didn't have any private messages in the DB either Confused ...a lot of help I am Sad
