I recently tried installing Clear Chat and it is a nice module indeed, however, we are finding this behavior that it tends to (its in a block on the front page left or right or center down doesnt seem to matter) when the front page loads it scrolls down to the text box. Also i tried to convert it to a module and it does refresh the text, but it loses the username or something when it moves from the front page to the back any ideas how i can fix that> if i can get it onto a seperate page that may solve the problem as it doesnt scroll on the seperate page for some reason.

It is a nice module but is still a bit buggy. Please contact the author as we do not support 3rd party modules here.
nods i just posted of anyone had any ideas, if you don't that is fine i think we are going to try and find a way to integrate phpmychat (think thats the right name) into the site and use themes so it doesnt look soo icky all the time.
