*Sorry for the new post, but everything is so out of date, I'm kind of hesitant to trust the information provided.*

So I have installed v7.9 Through my Cpanel using Fantastico De Luxe. I'm not too good with PHP but I have been running my site fine without any problems. But i want to do some upgrading and securing.

First, I want to get the forums upgraded from 2.0.17 to 2.0.23 which seems to be the most up-to-date version of them. But all the links i've seen in the older posts nukeresouces.com is disabled for some reason. so If a new source of the files could be supplied that would be great. Then I would need to know how to update it.

Secondly, Security.. What is the best way for me to secure my site and how would I go about installing it or whatever I'd have to do.

Like I said before, I am kind of new with this stuff and I currently run www.ClanWoH.com if anyone wants to check it out. I would like to have a secure up-to-date and fully-functional site. Whether this means downgrading from 7.9 or what, I dont care.. Just please let me know how to do it or where to find out how to do it.

And also.. Only 1 block shows up on the right side, I have used other posts to get them to show up, but the ones I want to show don't, I might have messed them up while trying to add new blocks.

Oh, I've also clicked on the Backup DB button and it saved a file called "save" to my desktop so I'm guessing thats the file i'd have to restore if I happened to update and need to re-upload the database? I could also use some help in this department so I know what I'm doing. Please help a newbie out.

If anyone else has any suggestions as to what else I should do to help make my PHP-nuke and/or Site better.. I'd greatly Appreciate it.
