I've been plagued by a dozen or so spammers who have entered the Forum, posted messages with porn and ads, then locked me out by doing something which prevented me from accessing Admin control panel. When I enter the Admin usersname and password, it kicks me to an identical page where I am asked again for Admin name and password.
I had to use PHPAdmin to access the site by reinstalling a saved database backed up before this all happened.
They always post messages in the same forum/topic, never seem to register or get a username, they don't show up in the MEMBERS registry of Phpbbs Forum integrated with NUKE.
I've been locked out of my own nuke site four times in two months.

I did however find a way to STOP one spammer dead in his tracks.
He was spamming me on a weekly basis, I would delete his spam and his user entry via PHPadmin and a week later he would be right back.
Then I did a massive search on his addresses and handles and found matches, cross matches enough so to confirm I had found the man behind the spam.
This spammer made the mistake of actually having a life outside of his being a MAGGOT who hacks websites.
So I sent him the following email, made a call to his local Chief of Police, forwarded cut and pastes of a dozen or so breakins of my website as well as over a dozen confirmed links between the spammer and the man behind the LEECHING.
I know this won't work with most spammers who bury themselves where it is tough, not impossible, but tough to find them, but... IT WORKED ON THIS GUY!!!

I am sick and tired of people hacking into my computer systems, spreading porn spam on my FAMILY WEBSITES and I am willing to go out of my way to ASSIST law enforcement in stopping this CRIMINAL VIOLATION OF MY RIGHTS TO BE FREE OF THE MAGGOTS THAT INFEST THE WORLD...

MY QUESTION????? WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO STOP THIS KIND OF ILLEGAL ENTRY INTO MY NUKE SITE???
I'm running Nuke 7.7 so heavily altered updates are just not realistic. I'd never remember all the changes that have been made over the past three or four years and updating would wipe most of those changes out. NOT AN OPTION!!!

Latest Patched files + Nuke Sentinel? If not, then there will be many vulnerabilities that can be exploited.
Good luck making those changes... a good file difference program helps (WinMerge - its free)
Thanks again Evaders99, you've been a great help over the years and I made good use of your advice in the past.
I have just downloaded NukeSentinel and am carefully attempting to install it, figure out the tweaks and I really appreciate the WinMerge software, I also downloaded the latest version of that and will play with it to see what it does.
For those out there who like me need to replace a line of code or single extension, filename etc throughout an entire directory including all files enclosed, I will share this little gem with you guys.
I have used this for YEARS and it works GREAT at changing email addresses, domains, filenames anything you want to change THROUGHOUT an entire file folder of files and text, this program will do it.
It used to be called BK REPLACEM, but I guess now it's just called ReplaceEM. WORKS GREAT!!!
