Is there a way, or a list of Illegal characters that arent allowed to be used in the UserName for new registered users, Stuff like { [ ] } = + - _ ) ( * & ^ % $ # @ and ! ????
I know alot of people that come to my site use there gamming names that are alot like Sn!p3R and clan names such as |ARE| and or ]DoD[.

I dont know if you need to know this, but I am running phpnuke 7.9 with the latest patch, along with forums upgraded to BB2nuke 2.0.22

I think allowing those characters opens a security hole.

I was figuring that some of them, but all of them? thats what I am trying to get at. Is there a list of ones that aren't allowed somewhere so I can post a text area for when there registering i can have the list of characters that aren't allowed.
