Howdy,

In the SlashOcean theme, when a user views "Your Account", all the field labels are unreadable due to being black text on a blue block. These are the field labels such as

Nickname/Username:
Real Name:
Real Email:
Your Home Page:

How can I change the text in this theme to white, so it's readable? I experimented with the style.css file, and the editor.css file, but couldn't find the right color to change. (Of course, I was just assuming it was in one of those files, and I did save the original files so I could restore them after I smurfed up the site.)

Thanks!

To be more exact:

Under "Your Account", when "Your Info" is accessed, the field labels on the left side (Nickname, Email, etc.) are in black (000000) tetx, on a blue (101070) background.

I've searched through theme.php this morning, and can't find anywhere that the "Your Info" table is specifically ID'd. The color definitions at the top of theme.php are

$bgcolor1 = "#FFFFFF";
$bgcolor2 = "#101070";
$bgcolor3 = "#e6e6e6";
$bgcolor4 = "#e6e6e6";
$textcolor1 = "#FFFFFF";
$textcolor2 = "#000000";

If I could change the field backgrounds to grey (e6e6e6) that would work, or change the text to white (FFFFFF). Either way would make the labels readable. No other theme generation needs to be changed, as far as I can tell.

Okay, I found -a- solution that works here. Others who choose the SlashOcean theme may not find that this wrks as well for them, but here's what I did. Instead of changing the text from black to white, I changed the backsground from blue to light grey. That makes the labels readable. I haven't found anything else that is effected by this change, though it may show up later.

If you want to make the same change, here's what I did:

In the SlashOcean theme, copy the theme.php file off the server to my local machine. Change the name of the theme.php file on the server to theme.php.original (so you can fix any major goofup by just changing the file name back to theme.php).

At the top of theme.php, there's this block of code:

$bgcolor1 = "#FFFFFF";
$bgcolor2 = "#101070";
$bgcolor3 = "#e6e6e6";
$bgcolor4 = "#e6e6e6";
$textcolor1 = "#FFFFFF";
$textcolor2 = "#000000";

Change the $bgcolor2 from #101070 to #e6e6e6.

Save the file as theme.php, and upload it to the server.

The background of the labels is now grey, and readable.

(Whew!)
