Hi, i've seen this kind of topics here before but still i'm a newb and i'm posting a new one Laughing

I've managed to set my site up with the PHP-Nuke 7.9 and modified it a bit. So far i've got a lot of trouble from finding a decent blog module.

First try was with the included journal module, which i kinda liked, needed a bit cosmetics but that seemed to be all at the beginning. When trying to post my first entry i found out that it didn't accept my way of saying to go to the next line - tryed just leaving a blank line - not working. Then i tryed to use commands like "<br> or <br />" wich didn't work either (html was disabled but i don't have an idea how to enable it atm). I even tryed to phpmyadmin and edit the entry directly but i was still left empty-handed

Then tryed crossnuke, which seemed nice untill i found out how buggy it was (it's stylesheet messed up my own theme's stylesheet, which i fixed), menus and text looked nice in IE, but when i opened opera everything got mixed up and i was left between it. Also i hated the way comments showed up on main page, didn't find a cure for it neither....then i trashed that

Next try was with nukeblog. The trouble with that was that i couldn't get anonymous users access to it, from modules i set it up to be viewable to everyone, which it was, but when i tryed to open it, i got an angry website saying that i need to be registered to access it....so i trashed that also

after that i chose WP-Nuke, which i didn't even manage to install. I was looking for a line containing "if ($forum_admin == 1)" to be replaced in mainfile.php, but there wasn't anything related to it...so i quit that installion

now i was left with only 1 that i knew - modblog (also know as koreans blog or smth like that), which i didn't like because it was forum-based

Am i just hopeless or is there a way that i can be saved? Very Happy

You can ALWAYS be saved.

But, I also hope you find the answer to the "good blog" question. I'd like to know if there's one out there, too.
