First off, this is my first post here. I installed nuke yesterday to check it out. I'm quite impressed. My install of nuke 7.9 went really smooth and without problems.
I've had 2 people register accounts to check out the user registration process. the first person had no trouble.
The second one tho, got a strange error:
Quote:
"new user activation error" and
There is no user in the database with this information.
You can register a new user from here. (link removed)
When I checked the memberlist, the persons name was there 3 times. He stated he registered once, and clicked the email link twice. (I clicked it once to see the error message)
Does anyone know what would cause this error? And how I can fix it?
This is for a site that will be used by my Cities volenteers group. I really need it to work properly for everyone becouse most haven't done much on the web.
Thanks.

Hmm not sure why it allows 3 accounts. It should only allow the link to work once to confirm the user.
Perhaps it did not clear the users_temp entry for some reason.
I have installed phpNuke v7.9 on my new site, which includes the phpBB forums, v2.0.17 through my host's CPanel (Fantastico).
Here's my problem: With new user registrations, everything goes fine until the new user clicks the activation link in the email. When they click the link, they get the error message:
New User Activation Error
There is no user in the database with this information.
You can register a new user from here.
HOWEVER, their account IS activated. Does anyone have any ideas why this would happen?
You can try it for yourself. Here is the address: http://www.4sn.biz/
