Embed PDF file as Module?

Hi,
Does anyone know if it's possible to embed (?) a PDF file as a module. What I want to be able to do is have a PDF file that opens up in my site just as one of the modules would instead of it opening in a new window or instead of leaving my site to go to the PDF file.

Put the following in a module:

$the_pdf_file="http://mysite/yourpath/file.pdf";
<object name=\"whatever\" type=\"application/pdf\" height=\"1000\" width=\"99%\" border=\"0\" data=\"$the_pdf_file\"></object>

Just change the link in $the_pdf_file

That should work.
I used that myself.
