Hi All!

I have PHPNule 7.4, which was upgraded from 7.2, which was upgraded from 7.1. I Had a standalone version of phpBB which I converted at the time of the initial installing using a script I found on Nukecops. I cannot find either the post or the script, but everything else seems to be working fine.

I am trying to adding new themes, but things are not behaving as I expect. So I decided to simply take the default subSilver theme and try to make changes to it. However, any changes made to the style in the "Edit Theme" form (Administration -> Forums -> Style -> Management) only seem to effect the administration pages and not the forum itself.

There is no special directory for my Nule theme (ie
/themes/Sand_Journey/forums/. I have tried changing modules/Forums/templates/subSilver/subSilver.css, but that does not work either.

I can see in the displayed that the styles are being set in overall_header.tpl. However, various entries define the styles like this:

.mainmenu { font-size : {T_FONTSIZE2}px; color : {T_BODY_TEXT} }

I have spent the last several hours trial to track down the place in the code where these are set. In some places it seems the values are being pulled from the database, but these are the same values I set through the "Edit Theme" and they do not seem to have any effect.

Obviously changing the overall_header.tpl for subSilver would do the trick. I could then add new themes under modules/Forums/templates. However, I would still like to know where things like {T_FONTSIZE2} are getting set.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

jimmo

I am in the exact same position as you Jimmo. I have no idea where those strings are going. Let me know if you find anything out.

I also would REALLY like to change the default phpbb skin that came with my autotheme phpnuke package deal. The seller refuses support.
