Hi
I donot know if it is a bug or something else. The problem is that after the application of the tweak, which is otherwise working fine, I have just found that the script cannot update list of modules with the newly installed module. I installed a new module today but the link is not appearing in the list of modules in the admin. The newly installed module itself is working fine which I have tested by calling the URL directly.
Any idea what is the matter. A solution will be highly appreciated.

re-download the modules tweak for 6.0

This problem was reported to us a while back, and I made the modification to it.

Basically, it's a missing '1' in the line where it adds new modules to the database.

If it doesn't work in the new download, let me know. It should though.

I have what may be a simliar issue.

I'm running Nuke 6.0 and I have applied the most recent security fix and the modules tweak (the latest tweak that includes the missing '1' )

Whenever I try to add a custom block (whether it's one of the included news sites (i.e. Hotwired or PBSonline) or a custom script like the homeland security threat level block), the add process hangs and takes my site down with it. Sad If I back out of it fast enough, I can usually save the site from crashing -- but the 'add' doesn't go through. If I let it run for a minute or two, it adds the entry to the nuke_blocks table. At that point, my site becomes non-responsive. The only way to bring the site back is to delete the block through MySQL. I've confirmed that I've uploaded these blocks to the correct location. Everything looks good to me, but obviously I'm missing something!

Additional info:

-- I can add blocks that were included in the original Nuke package (such as Top 10 Downloads, Languages, etc.)

-- I can add a block that includes HTML

-- Blocks that retrieve info from other sites bomb (like all of the headlines blocks, the HLS Threat level block, and the Snow Dumps block)

-- I added a random quotes block as a test, and it bombed as well.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

pass.

The modules block tweak doesn't affect anything except the modules block. (and the admin module for it).

The only changes that were made were 2 extra lines that call the modules table, then loop the code to generate the categories & their content. (plus the extra field in the modules table of course).

Check php info and see if fopen is enabled? First thing that comes to mind.

G'luck!

Thanks for the reply -- and for the suggestion.

allow_url_fopen is set to '1' for both local and master

I'm not sure what this means though (is this the value I want?) -- I'll keep digging. Thanks again.
