emailer error and new admins/author error

Ok first I have asked this numbers of times in other users posts but got no answer,I have been having a problem with emailer.php, The site sends out the registration emails and the user pass reminders, newsletters, etc. but when a user has topic reply notification checked and you make post to it it gives an error, also when you email users via forums it gives a error, failed to sedn email,

Second when i try to add authors via the admin panel i get a blank page but when i go to authors via the admin panel it has added em what would make it turn up white?

Site url is www.ladderdueling.org/1/, I do not have server access to the maion server software as it is being hosted, i got root folder access and a few cpanel options provided by my provider but other then that i cant really do deep diagnostics, but email works every where else.

i've got exactly the same problem, have you fixed this yet ??

it says a smtp.php error on line 165 (which is the cc and bcc adding loop)

Check the SMTP settings in your Forums Configuration

i can send email from the forum & main phpnuke perfectly, only this error occurs when someone is subscribed to the topic..

i've specified a smtp server in php.ini and the forum smtp function is turned off (so it turns to the php.ini i suppose)

in reply to your blank admin page you do got protector installed?
if you do or any other things you have installed that has modified your admin tables you need to change the authors.php and admin.php to add these new rows in. they should be in the instructions from the installation package that shoulda came with your download

i dont't have anything installed, but i'm gonna try that anyway maybe it has somethin to do with it. Smile

sentinal was causing the problem, i removed it and site is working fine on admins but i still have problems with the forums not sendng reply subscription emailes

Check here for a full feature list it is basically a site security system and doesnt work well with other mods, "some other mods"
