I NEED HELP BUILDING WEB COMMUNITY

I'm very new to building websites. My friend is helping me out. We are

developing a urban music community site. We are experiencing using

php nuke. We are trying to develop aan application that would enable

users of our site to create a profile (name, age, gender, marital status,

occupation, favourite artists, favourite quotes, "background info"), post

blogs and recieve comments, post photoblog with comments (slideshow

capability), create a friends list, and create a playlist (upload songs and

music videos). We are trying to get the site to function like

http://spaces.msn.com/. Can anybody help us in developing this

project. It would be greatly appreciated if someone provide us with any

help or direct us towards helpful resources

There are modules and block that will do what u want and need plus more.
Use google...and read more.
And use the search functions...

Do some research and testing to make sure nuke is the right platform for your site. There are lots of modules/blocks that will help you create the site you want, but make sure you are happy with the nuke engine.

spend some time at http://opensourcecms.com testing out different CMS engines.

Take a look at NukeKorea. They have created a site that has a lot of the features you are looking for.
