I dont know when or how it happened, but for some reason the side of the forum extends out and makes the header look messed up. I have images to show the problem.

This is how it looks normal (not in the forums):

This is how it looks now (in the forums):

I have no idea where the problem could be, I dont even know what file it would be in. If you need a file to help me find the problem I will gladly give it to you so you can fix this for me. Thank you! Smile

You'll need to check the HTML code from your forums template, start with overall_header.tpl

Hooray! A reply! I am not entirely sure what to look for in it, but its nice to have a clue where to begin looking. Thank you. Wink I'll post back if I can't seem to find the problem myself (editing the post instead of double posting of course). Wink

P.S: I am willing to send anyone any files they might need, if they would be willing to look through and maybe help me find the problem. Just keep that in mind. Smile

EDIT: What file would I have to edit to fix the width of these tables?
http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/3637/tableproblem7pw.jpg

I have a feeling they are causing the problem. I tried changing the width values in overall_header, but they never effected those tables, just the ones for the forums themselves. So I do not believe the problem is in overall_header.

Guess I have to wait 2 months between each question to get a reply. Sad No one has any idea how to help? I have looked through all the files I figured would be involved but I either didn't understand it, or it wasnt the problem.

Someone please help, I have been looking at this semi-annoying problem for the past couple of months and I can't seem to figure it out...

EDIT: I actually edited something (a table at the very bottom of the file that did not have </td></tr></table at the end of it) in overall_header and it sort of fixed the problem. However, the colors were messed up a little bit in some of the areas and it seems areas other then the main forums page are still having the problem.

Now I am really confused...

I don't do code fixes for people. A detailed analysis of the HTML would take some time, experiment around or try and use some kind of HTML program

Well, it doesnt have to be you. Wink Thanks for replying though, at least I didnt have to wait 2 months this time.

I have been trying testing myself, but theres just so much code and so many files that I don't have the slightest idea as to whats causing it. It would just end up being me changing random things all day/night until something worked. I was kind of hoping someone would have an idea as to what might be causing this theme oddity, and where I might look to fix it.

I have been doing my own tests, and will continue to do so, but until its fixed more help on the matter would certainly be appreciated. Smile

Okay, I made some adjustments to overall_header and it looks pretty good (not 100% right yet, but the problem is fixed). However, it only fixes the problem when looking at the Forum Index or in threads. When i try and use the search, or the shop, the problem is still there. Do they use a different overall_header? Do I have to go into the HTML files of those areas and try to find the problem?

Once again, sorry for double posting, but I seriously doubt people would give this a good look if I just edited again...

Sorry for the very late answer. After so many days of nothing I just stop looking.

What I did to fix the headers, was I noticed that there were some open tables and <tr>'s and stuff. So at the end I added some, got rid of some and cleaned up a little and it fixed the problem. However, I looked through the body files for the shop and the search and stuff, and I couldn't find any similar problems.

At least I think thats what I did in the header files, it was a little while ago.

I don't think that helps you help me very much. If you (or anyone else) have any ideas though on what I could try, I would greatly appreciate it. Smile
