Hey Everyone,
I just got my hands on PHP Nuke 6.0 via my web server, and it gets installed on it's own, I just have to click a button, and bang, it is done. But I want to upgrade to 6.5
I have downloaded the .tar.gz file from phpnuke.org and uncompressed it onto my HDD. I am officially lost from there. I have tried many different wayz to update it, and no luck. I have tried finding documentation that makes sense, but it all either makes no sense, or doesnt explain enough in detail.
So, anyone who can help resolve this little problem I am having would be greatly appreciated, and I would like to get it updated, and move on from there...
Thanx in Advance,
Kindred Spirit,

As it says in the INSTALL:
Copy the files over your 6.0 files.
Put the upgrade60-65.php file in the same directory as config.php an run it,
Done. |

Yes, it worked. Thx Raven. You don't have to help me with the add story malfunction anymore either, because upgrading solved this problem too.
BUT THANX SO MUCH ANYWAYS!! |

OK Kindred. The VERY FIRST thing you need to do is BACKUP your exisiting Files and Database.
Next upload ALL the Nuke6.5 files and overwrite your exisiting ones.
Then run the appropriate upgrade script.

Ok..so this is a fresh install of NUke6.0 that you are trying to upgrade to Nuke6.5. Your webhost has an automatic install you used to install Nuke6.0?
Do you have access to FTP and all your files. Do you have access to your MySQL database?
PM me the info and I'll try to help. I need God accoutn info and web address as well. Make it quick. I only have an hour left.
