hi Smile

i'm willing to pay a few beans for this. please let me know your rates if you can accomplish the following objectives:

[ objective1 ] :
i need to connect a couple disparate "who's online" blocks along with their respective databases on the backend in mysql, with phpmyadmin as the gui admin tool, and i need to be shown "how it's done" so that i can repeat the task myself in the future, easily.

[ objective2 ] :
i need to be able to enter a single admin.php page (can be on any of the sites) and from there, be able to add/edit/remove any kind of content - including all the usual admin.php tools and features, and even the ability to add whole new domains to the phpnuke sites on our network, all maintained from a single file like admin.php. this may require building a little wizard if something like nukehall.org isn't sufficient for the task.

[ deadline ] :
asap - but that really just means "normal" in my experience. it's something that i am told can be done in a matter of an hour or so by someone who knows what he's doing, but if it takes you a day or two, or even a week, that's ok too - just as long as the objectives are met. we're not solving black holes here, and it isn't Mission Critical because summer just started and the pressure is lower right now, so you can take the time to do it right (but i'm not paying for any learning curves here ... you gotta know what you're doing - so make sure i can see your portfolio somewhere if it isn't obviously linked from your nukecops.com user profile) Smile

[ specs ] :
1. What operating system are you using?
linux slackware 8.1

2. What version of phpNuke is this happening?
5.5, 6.5 and 6.7

3. Have you added any hacks or mods?
no

4. Can you repeat the problem?
i'm not able to yet, therefore i have a problem.

5. Is this on your hosting company server or on your test server?
on our own server

6. Has your topic thread title been helpful to point people to your problem?
yes.

7. Have you searched the Nuke Forums already to find a similar problem?
yes. we found a similar problem on nukecops.com but not on nuke forums. and certainly no suggested solution has worked so far.

8. Have you correctly given your files and folders the correct permissions?
yes, as far as i know.

9. What version of PHP do you have?
4.2.3

10. What version of mySQL do you have?
MySQL 3.23.45-log

11. What version of GD do you have?
GD Version 1.6.2 or higher

12. What OS Type is on your php-nuke web server?
Linux webserv 2.4.12 #5

13. Did this occur after a upgrade or a new install?
new installs.

14. Did you alter the script right before this problem happened?
no. only set the database info on config.php.

15. Can you give us the URL of your site(s)?
http://www.schoolsucks.com
http://www.thedailydose.com

16. Do you have Analyze.php and Conntest.php installed?
yes.

17. How much will you pay for this job?
well, i was told that the first objective should go for about $20 - $50, and the second objective should go for about $50 - $150. so if you do both, you could make between $70 and $200, depending on what we agree on prior to starting. if you think that's fair and can do the job, great - i look forward to hearing from you Smile if you think i'm being unreasonable, please let me know what you think is reasonable and i'll consider it - really Smile

thanks. you can message me here or at any of my contact points, which are located in my profile. Smile

best,

yasha

ps: re: [ objective1 ] : when i say i need to merge the who's online and members modules, i obviously mean that it should include the "chat" module, which uses that info too Smile (in case that was not clear i'll go edit that post) Smile

Smile ruby - it is fairly well explained for a start, above. if you are interested in this project please let me know. we've got a few projects, this is just one of them. if you can do this one, or others like it, let me know.

if you're in israel, let me know your number and i'll gladly call you.

shalom,

yasha
