I have (had) both Admin Secure and Protector installed on the site when running 7.3.
After copying the new 7.4 files intot he site, I re-applied the changes to the admin.php, auth.php, header.php, mainfile.php and admin/modules/authors.php as per Admin Secur and Protector.
I thought all went well until I loged in as admin and my admin panel just has a single 'logout' button.
Lol.
I believe the admin graphics dissapear issue is a known problem with 7.4.

It was easy enough to fix. If I'd payed attention when I re-applied the Protector mods (in admin.php and admin/modules/authors.php) I would have noticed 7.4 changed the long SQL strings (removed 'sections' and 'epheremids'). I simply re-applied my strings from 7.3 which had section and epheremids still in the query string.
Just be sure to apply the change to the 7.4 strings with just the Protector mods and the admin panel comes back to life.
