My users - with IE6.x - cannot access "registered visitors only" modules due to a cookie pb on phpnuke.
Internet Explorer 6 is the first browser to implement the w3c P3P standard. The standard is created to protect the privacy of your users. By default Internet Explorer will reject third party cookies, unless a valid privacy policy header is also sent, together with the cookies.
The browser blocks the login cookie and the user may not login.
P3P Compact Policy
The compact policy which is sent together with cookies. The default setting is: 'CUR ADM OUR NOR STA NID', which will allow Internet Explorer 6 to accept the cookies used.
How do I get phpnuke to send the p3p compact policy privacy header with the cookies?
Thank you!
P.S. The problem exists only if you load your mainpage in a frame. Which is quite often if you use a redirection service.
P.P.S. This feature is already implemented in PHPAdsNew 2 rc 3 (http://www.phpadsnew.com). Maybe this could help.

don't believe it for a second.
I use IE6 as my primary browser and I've never had problems logging into a nuke site, frames or no frames.
The only reason why IE6 would be a pain is if you've not got cookies being allowed in the tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy settings screen

Did you change your default settings to accept cookies from 3rd party sites?
Try to set the privacy settings to default. Normally you will see an eye with a stop sign in the status bar if you do so and go to http://www.warp-speed.de/modules.php?name=Your_Account.
B.t.w. you will see the eye w/ stop sign also when you access this forum. The banner cookie is also blocked.

I had the same problems, users coming to me complaining they can't stay logged in or use web chat whatever, was such pain until I found tonight, a free privacy policy p3p editor by IBM...
