My guess would be that once you have changed a file, you now have a custom file, and you don't want that to be overwritten every night with the old default file or you would lose your changes.

Note: This would be if you are talking about the nightly cvs update. I'm not sure by your post.

Nope, i dont even have the CVS installed so it couldnt be anything related to that.

I am 100% sure that it wasnt a human error on my part, i upload once early yesterday, then deleted and uploaded the 1-14-04 version fully, with a full database install, the only extra things i have are Calendar and Coppermin, which both are the most recent and there databases were both installed with a script.

Thanks for the prompt reply,
Kyle

No, i asumed the newest release would be the better one to get, i will download the 6.5 release and uplaod settings.php and see if that fixes it. I will report back and tell you if that works.

Ok thanks. The CVS had been broken after the 6.5 due to some improper coding. Not everything it seems may have been fixed. Perhaps you may have found a new bug that I'll need to address right away. Having access to your site would be a great help if we go down that path.

I just uploaded and tested the settings /admin/modules/settings.php from the bNC 6.5 package available here under the downloads.
Sadly the file is almost exactly the same and i am still left with the same problem.
This now means that there is an error deeper than jus the settins.php file.

I would be glad to allow you acces to my site, http://ocwildcats.com/OrganicInd/ .
Just contact me.
