new topic phpbb bug

forum shows up fine... but when i click "new topic"

i get the error below:

General Error

Failure when checking if forum can hold events.

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1054 Unknown column 'events_forum' in 'field list'

it might be looking at something simple but i cant get it to work.

i am using the 6.5 full release version, not upgrade , and am stuck

it ain't a bug, cause everybody elses works fine.

Have you applied any mods of any description to it??
