When i try to set up a private forum and allow single users to access it I get this message

Code:
Couldn't update private forum permissions

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0)' at line 2

INSERT INTO nuke_bbauth_access (forum_id, group_id, auth_view, auth_read, auth_post, auth_reply, auth_edit, auth_delete, auth_sticky, auth_vote, auth_pollcreate, auth_mod) VALUES (11, , 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0)

Line : 425
File : /homepages/12/d88207591/htdocs/nuke/modules/Forums/admin/admin_ug_auth.php

When I put them in a group and allow the group to access the forum it works so its not a crippling problem just a little pain in the butt.
Running mysql 4.15xl I think I use 1and1.com for hosting. Any help would be great.
Thanks guys,
WesDog

Thanks for the link but I dont think that is what I am looking for.
I can add users to groups and make them mods in forums.

I get the error when I try to allow access to a private forum to a single user.

I cannot grant access to private forums on a per-user basis. The only way I can allow them acces to the private forum is to add them to a usergroup and allow the entire user group to access it. Like I said its not a big deal right now as I can simply add them to the user group that has access to the private forum. I am just curious if anyone else had run into this and if there was a known fix for it. Of course I tried a search (3 times with different wordings) before I posted and couldnt find anything that related to my situation. I think it has something to do with the version of MySQL that my host is running handling things different than what the original php file was coded for. I am running "MySQL 4.0.16-Max-log running".

I had alot of trouble with getting phpnuke 6.9 setup at first and had to change a few things from posts in these forums to get it going. I had to install it as mysql4 and then change config.php back to MySQL after it was installed and running correctly in order to access admin functions (access denied problem). Could the fact Im running 4 but dont have that in config.php be causing the problem?

Thanks for the post tho foxyfemfem

Out,

WesDog

Hello,

You need to run that script to fix your problem. Here's the reason why
Quote:
INSERT INTO nuke_bbauth_access (forum_id, group_id, auth_view, auth_read, auth_post, auth_reply, auth_edit, auth_delete, auth_sticky, auth_vote, auth_pollcreate, auth_mod) VALUES (11, , 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0)
Look at your values 11=forum_id, ,=group_id,1=aut_view, etc, etc. Notice there is no value for group_id you will continue to have this problem until you fix the value in your group table. Trust me!
