I can get into cvs and get the betaNC stuff, just that it puts it all in the wrong directory, and a symbolic link didnt seem to help. Is there any reason I can't just copy the betaNC stuff over to my nuke directory?

Copying over your files should be fine, as long as you have a backup of your original files of course in case something goes wrong.
