Hello,
I come here becuase I am in charge of the website for the Pagan Aid Network and I would like to use php nuke because it seems like it can do alot which would be great. My only problem is even trying the idiots guide I couldn't get this uploaded some weird thing wrong on some 88 line, I dunno, php is not my thing, lol. If there is anyone out there who is willing to set this up for our non-profit org please drop me a pm. I sell web hosting that has fantisco which will install phpnuke auto for you with the click of a button. Now thats the idiots way of doing it lol. Take a look its very cheap. You website seems to be just an HTML site, where did you install PHP-Nuke so I can take a look and if it's something small, I will do it for you guys for free too.

What is sounds like the the database was not installed or not configured correctly. Make sure your current host provides mySQL - without that, sorry PHP-Nuke wll not work. Most likely since you are seeing the error, you do have PHP installed.

Make sure you meet the requirements:

Code:

- A Linux Box (http://www.linux.com) Installed and working properly.
- Apache Web Server (http://www.apache.org)
- PHP version 4.1.x or better (mod_php) Apache module (http://www.php.net)
- MySQL database server (http://www.mysql.com)

The on fellow is offering php-nuke via fantastico, which is great - we offer the same service - it's pretty standard now a days.

Let me know if you want assistance installing it. You can get me via IM. Installation just takes a few minutes.
