I have put together an updated GT Distribution. It has the following in it
Complete Downloads Tap
Complete Journal Tap
Complete Web Links Tap
Complete Statistics Tap
Complete Forums Tap
Fixed FAQ
A few other tweaks

10/19/03
Updated to include the Complete Sections Tap (Now works with multiple pages) Very Happy
Also contains any file changes needed for URL's to be standardized throughout the module. Manual changes and Complete files for overwriting included.

10/22/03
* block-Forums converted to GT URL's
* block_Top10_Downloads converted to GT URL's
* block_Top10_Links converted to GT URL's
* block_Sections_Articles converted to GT URL's
* block_Old_Articles converted to GT URL's, added if (!isset($cookie[4])) { $r_options .= ".html"; } to distinguish between logged in and not.
* Reviews Tap: Added code for pages, Added more characters for titles available is [a-zA-Z0-9\+\&\-\/%[:punct:]\.\;] (ampersands convert to %26 in URL, also covers umlaut's and other characters which get converted to percents. Converted comment URL's
* FAQ Tap: Added more character options to pass in URL for Categories
* Content Tap: Added code for pages, added entry for admin section compliance
* Top Module: Resolved all non-compliant URL's this covered sections, reviews, and downloads.
* Web Links Tap: Added support for searches, limited to only a-zA-Z0-9 does not work with special characters due to complications with rewrite making module try to search for the full URL.
* Footer.php: Added manual change file and default file, nukers either manually update, or overwrite existing file.
* Header.php: Added manual change file for those who desire a manually changed GT universe.
*sessions.php: Added manual change file for those who desire a manually changed GT universe.
*Added installation documentation, changelog file/revision log, blocks_readme, modules_readme.
You can get it here!

OR HERE

http://www.audioslaved.com/GT_Distro_10-22-03.zip

Let me know what you would like added to the distro. In the works at this point are:
Complete Surveys Tap...done, still in testing.
Complete News Tap
MS-Analysis Tap

At this point I am trying to only tap core modules that are included in the Nukecops bundle. After most core mods are rewritten we can look into rewriting other popular modules.

To install please refer to the install documentation and either overwrite your existing files or manually change your files with the help provided in the distro.

If my documentation blows and you still need help installing, please refer to the help threads in this forum. Hopes this helps some of you out. Thx everyone.

If we are over-writing header.php,
what about the fact that the base header.php is not the same
in each Nuke version ?

Don't overwrite header.php, just add the gt into it, look at the gt header in the package and see where it needs to be placed in oyur header.php

That makes sense but i'm looking right at the enable.sh script and it overwrites the files.
Therefore there are probably alot of people doing that
which means they are replacing their head() with whatever is in the header.GT file.

I will work on the sections mod today, Im sure it is something small.

I agree most should overwrite just the Google Tap code if they have a different header.php than the distribution here at nukecops. I have changed my above statement to reflect that.

I have never used coppermine, I use gallery, so I will have to see what can be done. It probably will not be part of the distro, but we can make an addon for it and possibly make it a sticky in the forum. Wink

I also added another download location from my website, for some reason the downloading from the uploads section is not working right for me right now.

See you around.

Hi Audioslaved!

I have problems with section module:

I click on Section module, later in .gif image, and appear the next error:

http://www.zakatron.com/error.jpg

PD: First I try with manual changes, and later with your index.php. header.php and .htaccess I up to server without changes, and I use footer.php from http://cvs.nukecops.com/cvs.php/GoogleTap?login=2

Any idea? Idea Sad

Thanks

Zackatron,
I messed up my .htaccess one entry in for the sections module, for my rewrite rule, I made it a $3 instead of a $1, that is what was causing the problem, go ahead and try it now, I updated the distro.

Thanks for the kind words Zhen.

I'm sorry for to disturb you. I re-upload all the new distro, but multipage don't work Sad

http://www.zakatron.com/sections-viewarticle-2.html

What do you think about a distro of gt for edonkey module? edonkey module is very similar to downloads module. I tried to make this module with gt, all works ok, but option "Sort by" don't work in module downloads neither edonkey, I created any conflict between modules Embarassed

One more time, thanks you! Wink

You mentioned above about other default modules to TAP

Complete News Tap

would be great!! thats my vote.. also i use Gallery which is I like alot and that would be great to do later also after all the core default modules are completed..

Also there should not be a problem putting this on 7.0 alpha 2??????? or should i stick to the 6.9??

Zakatron,
You need to change the URL's in the module for it to work correctly, the amp; not being there is stopping it working correctly. You need to change the $next_page and $previous_page URL's to reflect the amp; right now it looks as though they are set to default (Just the & sign)
