Hi, I installed the google tap in my site running on phpnuke 5.7 and well I was wondering why is google indexing my site in so many differnt different ways, like for example in the articles section...

When Google boots go to my site they start getting the following kind of urls from a same article...

http://www.mysite.com/posts433-0.html

http://mysite.com/posts433-0.html

http://www.mysite.com/postt433.html

http://mysite.com/postt433.html

This is with all the articles, is there a way so that google bots only index one instead of 4 or 5? I mean this could save me alot of bandwith dont you all think?

reguardless of what result they are clicking from google, its not saving you any bandwith. the only way you'll see a decrease in bandwidth is if the surfer clicks the the "cached" link (in grey) in the google results, then the page is pulled from google's server...otherwise the regular result is "tapping" your bandwidth...

my two cents about the different google results is:
the only reason you would want to consolidate the google results for your articles is for log and access analysis.
