Hello mikem,

I love the new theme bro!

I do have a small problem that I'd like to get your feedback on.

How can I disable the IE javascript warning I'm constantly getting when browsing the forum with Netscape.

"These Forums are optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 ..... blah blah blah ......."

It does this every time you do anything in the forum. I want to kill this puppy!!!

Let me know when you get a chance.

Thanks,

Michael

It's in one of the template files. If you can stand it for a short while I'll take a look again and let you know where it is.

EDIT:

It's in overall_header.tpl look for
Code:
<SCRIPT>
 if (navigator.appName == "Microsoft Internet Explorer");
 else
 alert("These Forums are optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4+ browsers.\n We suggest you to use the IE4+ browser in order to enjoy all the extra features and layout tricks.\n\nThanks!");
</SCRIPT>

I downloaded this theme from forumimages.com

I'm wondering what went wrong. After I downloaded it, I uploaded it to my site in my themes folder and now when I try to go to the forums section of my site, I get this error.

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not open forums template config file

DEBUG MODE

Line : 349
File : c:\webhost4life_aspnet\robbieb\includes\functions.php

I'm using nuke 6.5 I think...is this theme ONLY for phpbb or does it work for nuke too?

This has happend with others too...ie, if I take the forums folder from a different theme, and place it in my new themes folder, same error.
