It seems the first link has been dead for some time. I have been trying it for over a week.
Audioslaved site has been hacked so it is not available there either at the moment.
Could someone post a working link please? |

I'll host it until Audioslaved gets "un-defaced", poor sods. Hopefully that won't be too long, I don't have unlimited bandwidth. The file I'm putting up is a self-extracting archive, super-compressed with 7zip. I can certify it virus free, as I keep virus definitions updated daily.
As an added bonus, I included the GoogleTap files for NukeC, in case anyone was looking for them.

Hi,
I have Google Tap installed on my website, but i havent been able to figure out how to re-write my links so that they are shorter and dont have article, topic, or & in them??
If anyone has a basic procedure that i could follow then that would be great.
Have a look at my website and you will see what i mean, all the pages still have article, topic, in the web address.
www.themepark-world.com
Im very keen to learn. Just need to kick start in the right direction.
Thanks
Dale |

GoogleTap only created generic names for pages. article-topic is a standard way to translate the Content articles.
If you want to rename specific pages, you will need to edit header.php and .htaccess for those specific rules. Best if you look at those files to get an idea how $urlin and $urlout rewrite your links, and .htaccess translates them back |

Always refer to this CVS location:
http://cvs.nukecops.com/cvs.php/GoogleTap
The *.plain files are not GT enabled.
The *.GT files are fully GT functional.
All are complete. Just plug and pray. |
cvs.nukecops.com is an unknown host. Could someone please point me towards the newest version of GoogleTap?
Thanks! |

Any recommendation one way or the other? Pros & cons of each? Will GT-NextGen work on phpNuke?
Thx. |

I tried to use GT-NExtGEn. When I installed it, only half the site came up.
I am running Nuke 7.4 with the patches installed. I didn't really want to overwrite my current files with their files. I'll have to give it a whirl and see what it does. |

I have yet to get the mod-rewrite tester to say my site is functional and when I tried to implement the changes all of my modules, including forums, stopped working. Then I removed the changes and, voila. No more problems. |

Same with me.
So I'm not really sure what the GT is doing, or maybe it's not compatible with later Nuke versions
[EDiT]BTW, I'm going to put the GT files I have in the Downloads section of my site. It doesn't really fit the flavor of my site, but I'll throw them in there anyway, in case someone wants them. They'll be there in a couple of days.[/EDiT] |
