when i add a / before or after the file location it just gives me "at:'.modules/Downloads//imgupload/rdu11fsx.jpg."
I went and looked at ns_uploads_file.php and none of the locations have a "." in front of modules/
Thank you for a quick response, any help is helpful and possibly a point in the right direction

I'm just curious JoAnne, is the image uploading working for you, or are you using the image uploading?

Hey Drek
I have used the image upload and I have also used the link to images before for my Jinzora Themes. You can see them in my downloads module.

Well BOB I don't know what to tell you then other than I don't think the problem lies with the module. Can you please tell me your basic configuration, and especially what version of Nuke are you using, and with with what mods, if any.

Drek, what version of mysql is the install file is for?
I've had a hard time trying to install the module on my server which has mysql 5.1.8.
When I run new_install file I get these error lines:
** Dump Error for Table: bult_ns_downloads_blocks **
could you make a mysql-5-compatible installation file?

My first question is, did you start with a clean stock downloads module installation? What version of PHP Nuke are you using? If you are using Nuke 8, I have no idea if it works or not. But at this point if it isn't working with MySQL 5, I have no interest, and probably no ability, to fix it up. Someone with more coding know-how than myself will have to do that.
