I used to have some problems with this, but I never had to alter the code to fix it.

What I found that worked was simply having the user type the picture URL in their forum account, and it worked. If they used Cut & Paste, that is when it just printed out the code. I don't know if there is a reason for this, but as I said, it has worked on my site.

The story there is going to be that the "cut and paste" probably contained spaces.

I say that because I cut and paste my signature all the time.

Code:

[url=http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/team_display.php?teamid=41273][img]http://www.brainsmashr.com/setisig.gif[/img][/url][url=http://www.brainsmashr.com][img]http://www.brainsmashr.com/signature.gif[/img][/url]

Could you imagine me having to type that everytime I register on a new site??

The image "http://zogam.com/signature.php" cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

That what is says with Firefox. Something is amiss with your coding.

hard to say.

I know my code is written to call the signature.png image from the imagesdirectory rather than the root.

Unless you edited that portion of the code, then my first guess would be that the file can't find the image.

Should be http://zogam.com/images/signature.png
instead of http://zogam.com/signature.png

I have tried everything possible, but the flash sig application does not work.

I have checked for and enabled:

1. HTML Tags
2. Added embed and object in allowed HTML Tags
3. BBCode

I am using phpnuke (7.Cool

My source file is : http://www.gdteam.com/stats/stats.swf?playerName=spyTHE0RY&bg=2

I have even tried this address to test: http://www.gdteam.com/stats/stats.swf but it doesnt work.

Quote:
<OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0"
WIDTH="400" HEIGHT="120" id="stats" ALIGN=""> <PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="http://www.gdteam.com/stats/stats.swf?playerName=spyTHE0RY&bg=2"> <PARAM NAME=quality VALUE=high> <PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#000000>
<EMBED src="http://www.gdteam.com/stats/stats.swf?playerName=spyTHE0RY&bg=2" quality=high bgcolor=#000000 WIDTH="400" HEIGHT="120" NAME="stats" ALIGN=""
TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></EMBED></OBJECT>

I have also tried this code:

Quote:
<embed src="http://gdteam.com/stats/stats.swff" width="400" height="120"></embed>

I was told to go to includes/bbcode.php and add the extensions, I added swf and also swf[^/[]* , but it still doesn't work so I uploaded the original bbcode.

Is there anything I can do?

Thanks

It really doesn't matter if this is displayed as a signature or not, I can also try to display it in as part of the content. Basically I am making a roster page, and I have made about 16 pages in the content module and in all of the 16 pages of content, I was going to display this flash application, since it was a sig I was trying to put it in as a sig. I even tried adding this flash to the body of the page. Even as a test, I tried adding this flash to the account, but no worky. Sad

The only way I can get it to work is by http://www.deltastriketeam.com/index/signature.php
