If you mean to have 1 download area and then restrict particular files to particular roles, then I would advise you to have 2 separate download areas. Leave the standard one as is and create a second one for Admin's only.

As I said, your best and easiest route is to have 2 separate d/l blocks/modules - 1 for registered users and 1 for admins. Otherwise you will have to modify the d/l block/module logic to check if the person is an admin and then hide/mask out particular files. Yes, it can be done.

This isn't bug free with 6.5 yet but it works. Permissions are extremely configurable.

Ever thought of using NSN Groups? Versions for both PHP-Nuke 6.0 and 6.5 are availible at http://www.nukescripts.net/modules.php?name=NSN_Downloads and can be used with NSN Archives to do this very thing Smile

eh? what did I have to do with NSN Groups????? Confused

The only version I had anything to do with is the latest one that includes my modules tweak, and the only think I did then was update the modules tweak a teeny bit on top of Bob's changes.

Nemesis: Have you copied the contents of admin/language/lang-english.txt into your admin/language/lang-english.php as the instructions say to? If not then that is why your getting the underscored text.

Yes, there is a NSN Groups/AI modules set but I will be doing the support since it was I that asked for permission to include AI's code in with NSN Groups Wink AI has enough to do with out having to support NSN scripts too Smile
